It's that time of the year again.
For some apparent reason, this little guy attempts to put my friends up to trying to have me a date for Valentine's and I don't like it.
Just this past Sunday at church, that one single guy and I were talking as friends do, and the "cupit" of the day bounces up and says "So, you two want a Valentine's Banquet ticket right?" My response is "HUH?!?" with a look of ARE YOU CRAZY on my face. My "HUH" give him the split second opportunity to RUN and quickly I might add. I have told "Cupit" this guy has to be handled with kid gloves since it's apparent his last two relationships have been not so kind at all to him. I pray she didn't freak him out more than I realize.
I know everyone wants to help in finding me the "right man". And I do have faith that the Lord will send him my way. If my "Cupits" aka Friends don't scare him off first. Is this single guy the one for me and he's just scared? I don't know...all I do know is that I've enjoyed talking to him lately. Old friends reunited. We grew up semi close to one another and when he married for the first time, we all grew apart.
**Latest update** @ chruch this past Sunday, the single man stayed far far away from me and the "Cupits". My "Cupits" have somehow found out the single man got a ticket to our church Valentine Banquet, and now I have a ticket also that they bought me. Go figure! But since it is a fund raiser for the youth, I'll go along and enjoy myself. Besides the meal should be YUMMY!
I'll keep everyone posted on how much damage my "Cupits" might cause
